Beat the Thief is the fun way for your kids to learn how to safely communicate online. They ll play as Jen, a young girl whose birthday (and party!) is fast approaching. Jen needs to share messages with her neighbors to help strengthen her friendships and make her party as awesome as possible! However, as with all online communication, you can never be sure who else is listening. Will your kids share Jen s personal information with the world? Or will they be able to share safely and beat the thief? Beat the Thief is created by the Center for Identity at UT Austin. The app does not collect any data from players and is playable offline.

Requires iOS 6.1 or later. Compatible with iPad.
